NSan Diego, California
A mural of a whale and other sea creatures is set to be removed from the wall it was painted on more than 20 years ago.
The mural depicting San Diego sea life currently covers a large wall at City Chevrolet on Morena Boulevard. It was painted two decades ago by a group of local artists, including muralist Kevin Immel.
The muralists even collaborated with Scripps Institute of Oceanography to ensure the painting accurately represented sea life.
Now, the art piece is set to be removed because General Motors plans on remodeling all of their dealerships to look the same.
